A pelleted, grain based product designed for supplementary feeding sheep and cattle.

Feeding Directions

• Offer to sheep or cattle grazing both green and dry pasture.
• Feeding rate will vary depending on pasture quantity and quality and the live-weight of the livestock, but can be fed up to 2 kg per 100kg of bodyweight per head per day.
• Care should be taken when starting livestock on feeders; hay or chaff can be used to entice sheep and cattle onto feeders.
• Feeder design varies; generally the slide opening should be adjusted to a Maximum of 10mm to limit intake.
• Feed intake should then be monitored and the slides adjusted according to the feeder design and to achieve the desired intakes. The feeder slide should be set, so that livestock have to lick or nibble the pellets from under the slide.
• To encourage grazing out, place feeders out in the paddock, away from water sources.
• When pastures become grazed out, the feeders should be moved to a new area, or hay provided in racks.
• When hand feeding, start sheep and cattle on 0.5 kg of feed per 100kg of body weight and build up to 2kg per 100kg of body weight over 14 days.
• Always have roughage available to appetite.
  

WARNING Do not feed to starving stock. Do not feed to animals other than sheep and cattle. Do not feed to lactating ewes where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.

Storage Requirements

Store undercover in cool, ventilated, dry place, below 30 degrees celcius, protected from sunlight.
