An aid in the prevention and correction of cobalt-responsive conditions in cattle.

Directions For Use

• Do not administer to cattle less than 5 months of age

Growing Cattle (dairy heifers and beef cattle)

• Dose all cattle over 5 months of age with one cobalt pill.
• Repeat dose following veterinary advice.

• Dose with one pill twice a year.
• Dose 3 months before calving and again 3 months after calving.

Storage Requirements:

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place below 30°C (room temperature).

NOTE: To be effective the cobalt pill must be swallowed and lodge in the rumen. For best results use a Cattle Pill Applicator to deliver the pill directly into the oesophagus (gullet). In areas where mineral deposits may coat the pill and reduce release rates a steel grinder should also be administered to maintain the surface of the pill clean and active. Rumetrace Cattle Steel Grinders may be purchased from suppliers of this product. Intra-ruminal devices of a heavy metallic nature (Selenium Pills) will also provide a grinding action.
