Prawn

Ridley is the only Australian supplier of prawn feed and has developed and continues to develop feed that is designed for the variability of the Australian climate.

It also contains ingredients designed to enhance the immune system to assist in fighting off disease and reducing stress – particularly in those periods of fluctuating temperature and salinity.

 

The Ridley range of prawn feed kicks off with the starter feed and then splits depending on the species being farmed. For Tiger prawns (Penaeus monodon) the range remains with a classical high protein formulation in Grower 1 (2.2mm x 3-4mm long) and Grower 2 sizes (2.2 x 5-6mm long). For farmers of Banana prawns (Penaeus merguiensis), we supply the HR range; this has the same size pellet but a low protein compared to the Tiger prawn formulation.

 

All the Grower range of diets can be boosted with the Enhance pack. This is designed to give better growth, FCR and improved survival and can be used either throughout the grow out cycle or at periods when high stress is encountered.
