Barastoc Furlong
Complete, high energy muesli feed for performance horses
Performance horses will want for nothing with Barastoc Furlong. This full feed ration provides a complete racing feed that will fully satisfy the needs of performance horses. What’s more, as a complete feed mix, Barastoc Furlong can also reduce the labour needed for feed mixing.
Barastoc Furlong contains steam-flaked grains to enhance digestibility and is fortified to fulfil all the protein, vitamin and mineral requirements of intensely worked horses.
To help maintain exercise tolerance, it contains high levels of chromium. Vegetable oils have been added to supply more energy per kilogram, and for antioxidant activity, Barastoc Furlong contains high levels of vitamin E and selenium.
Barastoc Furlong also has added salts to replace sweat losses, omega-3 fatty acids and a live yeast culture to enhance fibre digestion. It can be used for spelling, pretraining, racing and other performance horses.

The recommendations provided are intended as a guide only. The amount fed will vary according to the horses condition and the quality of pasture and/or roughage available. Barastoc Furlong should be used to supplement grazing and/or high quality roughage to not more than one half of the horses daily feed intake by weight. Introduce this product gradually over a 2 week period. Intakes less than the levels listed may require additional vitamin and mineral supplementation. Do not feed more than 2.5 kgs of this product per meal.
