Owned by Ridley Corporation, Ridley AgriProducts was formed in 1990 as a vehicle to achieve the company’s vision to be the leading manufacturer of high quality animal nutrition solutions, servicing the rural community nationwide. The journey began through the acquisition of Barastoc StockFeeds, a prominent Stockfeed manufacturer in Victoria who was the national leader in steamed pelleting technology and the pioneer of Rumevite.
With a passion for further expansion, over the next decade Ridley AgriProducts acquired many companies and became leaders within the field. In 1994, Ridley AgriProducts purchased Defiance Milling, part of which was the Aqua-Feed division. Cobber dog food was later introduced to include our already existing range of Country Dog and Working Dog feeds.

With further domestic ventures such as Farmstock Stockfeed, Moloney’s Stockfeed and Maffra Stockfeed in Rural Australia, and international acquisitions of Feed-Rite located in Western Canada, and Hubbard Feeds in the US mid-west, Ridley AgriProducts was soon introducing products into all corners of Australia and taking on the world. Although international feed manufacturing companies have since been sold, Ridley AgriProducts had become the largest stockfeed manufacturer in the nation.
Today, Ridley AgriProducts proudly stands as Australia's leading provider of high performance, value adding animal nutrition solutions for the beef, dairy, pig, poultry, horse, sheep, pet food and aquaculture industries. Major brands include Barastoc, Rumevite, Aqua-Feed and Cobber. With a vision for the future, Ridley AgriProducts strives to build on the strong position it holds in the stockfeed market and to be a significant regional force in Australian rural communities.
